Welcome to the New Mexico Pageant of Bands Web Site. This annual event provides a venue for over 2,000 New Mexico high school students to exhibit their skills and receive feedback from nationally recognized judges and is based on band size, not school size. The New Mexico Pageant of Bands is a nonprofit organization promoting performance excellence and sportsmanship in high school marching band competition. For more information see our About page.
The 39th New Mexico Pageant of Bands Marching Competition will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Wilson Stadium in Albuquerque.
Preliminary Performance Schedule – The new preliminary 2018 POB Performance Schedule as of September 10th is now available. You can also download the Full 2018 Preliminary Performance Schedule (including Warm-Up times) as a pdf.
Band Directors – Please remember that the deadline for receiving your entry fee has passed. If you haven’t done so already, please ensure that payment is in progress. You can also pay on-line. Simply go to our 2018 POB On-Line Entry Payment form, complete and submit. You will be directed to your payment options. Also, your Program Sheet is due by September 7, 2018 for inclusion in the POB Program booklet. It can be entered on-line.
POB Group Photography Pre-Order – The 2018 POB group photography will be supplied by Bellaments. Band group photos are $20 for a formal or “funny” 8×12 color print or $30 for two 8×12 color prints, including one formal and one “funny”. Orders can be placed on the day of the event or pre-ordered by mail. Prints will be shipped to the address provided on the form for a $5 fee. To order, download the photography order form and mail to Bellaments, 2901 Texas St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Payment must accompany all orders. Deadline for POB Photography pre-orders is Saturday, October 13, 2017.

Advertise in the POB Program – The New Mexico Pageant of Bands Program is available for purchase at the competition for $5. It provides a guide to the competition with information on each band and their group picture from the previous year. It is a very popular keepsake for students, parents and band staff with over 800 distributed each year. Your business may advertise in the POB Program booklet.
