Adams State University in Alamosa, CO, just 30 miles from the New Mexico state line, is hosting a percussion camp June 20-22, 2018 sponsored by Yamaha. The cost is $80 for the camp, including all music, a t-shirt, dorm room, Adams State gear, and meals.
The clinicians are Dave and Kathy Marvin (Denver Broncos Stampede Drumline, WGI legends, etc), and Nico Owen, Cavaliers snare alumni, Brazilian percussion specialist (teacher for a percussion school in Brazil), and currently drummer for international touring electronica group, ODESZA.
In addition to marching percussion, this camp includes Brazilian samba and steel band. It’ll be a great camp on the Adams State University campus. The camp is open to 7th-12th graders.
